Understanding How to Inject Profhilo in Clinical Aesthetic Practice
When we train clinicians at Dr. Dray Academy, one of the first things we clarify is this: Profhilo is not taught like a traditional dermal filler. It doesn’t behave like one, and it should not be injected like one.
Instead, Profhilo is a bio-remodelling injectable, meaning your success depends entirely on anatomical precision, tissue plane selection, and correct use of structured injection mapping.
This is where many newly trained injectors struggle — not because the product is complex, but because they were never properly taught how to think in anatomical layers.
In clinical practice, Profhilo is administered using Bio Aesthetic Points (BAP) in the face, and delivered into the superficial dermis of the neck to allow optimal spread and hydration of the extracellular matrix.
